Business Growth and Relocation
Cambridge Pixel has recently completed another very successful year of business. We are pleased to report strong sales growth across the military, security and commercial radar business sectors for our SPx and HPx product families.
To support this growth we have recently moved into new larger offices and we are recruiting to expand our engineering and support team. We are planning continued development of our innovative and flexible radar processing products with emphasis on quality and customer support. |
| Track Fusion | |
|
Expanding the scope of its SPx Tracking software, Cambridge Pixel has recently announced its SPx Fusion module to combine track reports from two or more sensors into a single fused data source. The fusion software provides a single stream of track reports by combining reports from individual overlapping sensors. Targets moving from one sensor's coverage to another maintain a persistent track ID as they are handled in the fusion module.
SPx Fusion is available as a server application for Windows and Linux, or alternatively as a programming library for custom server development. The software is modular and flexible and may be used with the standard SPx programming library as part of a radar acquisition, processing and display solution.

| RadarView Visualisation | |
|
We continue to develop and enhance our Windows-based RadarView radar visualisation software. A new configuration wizard assists with the initial set-up of the software allowing RadarView to be easily configured for single radar installations with minimal resources or complex multi-channel, multi-window installations with up to 20 simultaneous scan conversions.
We have also released a new OEM version of RadarView specifically designed for Radar manufacturers to include as a radar display capability for their sensors.
We have a new brochure for RadarView, which is available here. |

Concurrent Technologies
Cambridge Pixel has teamed with Concurrent Technologies to offer its SPx software products on Concurrent's VX511/06x VME and related hardware. Cambridge Pixel's SPx Server with the HPx-150 PMC radar interface card is installed on the VX511 single-board computer to provide a highly capable, cost-effective radar video server solution. Concurrent Technologies provide a range of high-performance single board computers across VME and cPCI platforms, which ideally complement Cambridge Pixel's software for rugged military applications.
Tech Source
We have been working with our partner in North America, Tech Source Inc, to provide enhanced radar display options when the SPx software is used with the Condor 2100 XMC graphics hardware. Tech Source's latest generation of embedded graphics card offers a high-performance feature set and comes from an independent graphics company with a long history of industry-leading graphics products. The SPx software is able to exploit features of the Tech Source hardware to provide enhanced capabilities and performance for Cambridge Pixel's embedded customers. |
