Winter Conference 2012
Winter Conference Registration
Although Scripture is filled with examples of the presence and power of the Spirit operating in everything from the actual creation of our world (Genesis 1:2) to the transforming "new creation" of our personal lives (2 Cor. 3:18), the Holy Spirit has often been overlooked or ignored. At next year's Winter Conference in Houston, Texas, we will seek to correct this all too frequent omission. The theme for next year's conference will be "The Holy Spirit: Power for Mission."

Rector Answers the Question "What Is an Anglican?" in Radio Interview
 | |
Backpack Radio Hosts (L to R) : Pastor Bob, Vocab Malone & Vermon Pierre
|
On October 9, the Rev. Shane Copeland of St. George's Anglican Community in Phoenix, Arizona, got a chance to answer the question, "What is an Anglican?" on a live radio program. Every Sunday night, "Backpack Radio" offers "street-level apologetics" to Phoenix listeners at 1360 KPXQ AM. Shortly before Reformation Day, in honor of related topics, the hosts enlisted Shane to explain the basics of Anglicanism to their listening audience.
"It was crazy, chaotic, mostly 'off the cuff' and a whole lot of fun," Shane says. "I did my best to try and articulate some of what it means to be an Anglican."
Listen to Shane's interview that starts several minutes into the program.
