Worship Conference
November 8-10, 2011
A special invitation to theAM from Rector Steve Breedlove:
What is the message of the Gospel that is hard-wired into our Anglican liturgy, and how do we communicate it clearly and powerfully? What are the means for spiritual transformation available through Anglican worship? How is Anglican worship particularly tailored to include, and minister to, creative artists? These and many other essential topics will be on the table at the upcoming conference entitled Anglican Worship: A Conversation on Liturgy, Formation, Mission & Art, November 8-10 at All Saints Church in Durham, NC. Join me, our church staff, Mark Galli, David Taylor, Dr. Lester Ruth, Dr. Sam Wells, Andy Piercy, and many others for this conference aimed at clergy, worship pastors and leaders, artists and those interested in ministering to artists.

Greetings!
"Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind." Philippians 2:1-2
May we in theAM be of one mind with Christ and each other, serving in humility and love.
Blessings,
Cynthia P. Brust Director of Communications, Chair of Winter Conference Anglican Mission in the Americas Subscribe to Currents > >

Winter Conference 2012
Now Open: Winter Conference Registration!
Although Scripture is filled with examples of the presence and power of the Spirit operating in everything from the actual creation of our world (Genesis 1:2) to the transforming "new creation" of our personal lives (2 Cor. 3:18), the Holy Spirit has often been overlooked or ignored. At next year's Winter Conference in Houston, Texas, we will seek to correct this all too frequent omission. The theme for next year's conference will be "The Holy Spirit: Power for Mission."

Anglican Coalition in Canada Refocuses at 2011 National Conference
 | |
Archbishop Yong
| Eighty attendees at the Anglican Coalition in Canada's 2011 National Conference held September 15 -17 walked away with a deeper knowledge that intimacy with Jesus is the basis of mission and discipleship. They heard from keynote speakers including the Most Rev. Yong Ping Chung, retired Archbishop of SE Asia; the Right Rev. Todd Hunter, Bishop for Anglican Coalition in America (ACiA) and Churches for the Sake of Others; the Right Rev. Silas Ng, ACiC Bishop; and the Rev. Dr. Terry Walling, founder of Leader Breakthru. Moreover, they moved into a new visionary phase for the ACIC and took away a strong sense of unity and focus for the future. Share in God's work at the conference.
