Soul in the City Houston
July 17-23, 2011
Soul in the City Houston is just around the corner! Mark your calendars now for July 17 - 23, 2011 and join in the camp/mission week of a lifetime.
This week-long event is for any 7th - 12th graders who are interested in meeting new friends, serving others in the name of Christ and growing closer to God. The camp will partner with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) for worksites each day and come together in the evenings for fellowship, praise and worship, and a message.
This year's theme "REVEAL," drawn from Luke 4:18-19, will consider how Jesus revealed who He was and what His mission is all about both for the world and each individual. Organizers believe that "God is ready to reveal something incredible to each and every participant this year."
The cost is $175/person.
For questions or more information contact Kristin DePue at 281-415-1764.

Serendipitous Discipleship
Laura Hucks, bottom left, with students from Waccamaw High School.
Church is the normal setting for kids to learn about Scripture, its relevance for their lives and how to live it out ---- accredited Bible education as part of public school curriculum is not common. Surprisingly, hundreds of teenagers from three high schools in the Lowcountry of South Carolina received Bible instruction during their normal school day, and as a result many chose to become Christ followers.

New Church Planting Venture for Missionary Bishop

Members of All Saints enjoy a Holy Spirit Retreat. (Bishop Jones far right)
After growing up a high-school football star in Texas, the Rt. Rev. Philip Jones never thought he'd return to the "Lone Star" state. But God had other ideas, evidenced by Jones' call to plant All Saints Dallas-a church plant now bringing fresh teaching on the Holy Spirit to Central Dallas.
