Sister2Sister Mission Trip Facilitator
The Rev. Phil Eberhart, pastor at Resurrection Anglican Fellowship in Centennial, Colorado, has joined theAM's Sister2Sister team to facilitate mission trips from the US to Sister Parishes in Rwanda. He will work with mission trip leaders at the local level to help provide training resources for trips, S2S communication with Rwanda, trip tips, travel resources and one-on-one troubleshooting.
"There is no substitute for going when it comes to developing kinship and relationships with our brothers and sisters in Rwanda," Phil notes. "Once you've been there, you will never be the same."
Phil has broad experience in short-term missions and is available to "come alongside" mission trip leaders preparing for a trip or at any stage along the way. Connected with ServantPrep Mission Training, he is able to resource and train teams, assist with travel and insurance and offer insight on in-country expectations and experiences for leaders or team members. Soul in the City Houston
July 17-23, 2011
Soul in the City Houston is just around the corner! Mark your calendars now for July 17 - 23, 2011 and join in the camp/mission week of a lifetime.
This week-long event is for any 7th - 12th graders who are interested in meeting new friends, serving others in the name of Christ and growing closer to God. The camp will partner with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) for worksites each day and come together in the evenings for fellowship, praise and worship and a message.
This year's theme "REVEAL," drawn from Luke 4:18-19, will consider how Jesus revealed who He was and what His mission is all about both for the world and each individual. Organizers believe that "God is ready to reveal something incredible to each and every participant this year."
The cost is $175/person.
For questions or more information contact Kristin DePue at 281-415-1764.

Children Fund a Well in Haiti
On a hot summer day, children at the summer market in Park City, Utah, got a chance to hurl a ball at a target in hopes of "dunking" a wet-suit-clad man in a tank of cold water. It was splashy fun with a purpose: St. John's Anglican Church used the dunk tank to raise money for Living Water International, a faith-based organization drilling wells in developing countries.
Learn how proceeds from the dunk tank rehabilitated a well in Haiti.
