· Intensive Introduction to Anglicanism (FOU 007)· Liturgics Workshop (FOU 007a) Anglican School of Ministry is conducting a non-credit course, Intensive Introduction to Anglicanism, during the week prior to the 2011 Winter Conference in Greensboro, North Carolina. The course is designed to assist ordination candidates prepare for the distinctly Anglican issues on their exams. The last two days of the course comprise the Liturgics Workshop, which anyone can attend without the first three days of the course. Learn the details here.

 The men of Faith Anglican in Cordova, Tennessee crowd around a kitchen oven, reviewing recipes and chopping vegetables as they prepare to serve plates of hot, home-cooked chow for those who could use a helping hand in Memphis, Arkansas, just across the state border. Dr. Reggie McNeal challenged All Saints Church in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, over the weekend of October 29-31 with some sobering messages on what it means to be a missional church. While his presentations offered fresh perspectives on the realities of church culture, Reggie's humorous delivery had parishioners laughing while also inspiring them to put their faith into action.

Apostles Mission Network Gathers for Fall Retreat
On October 25-28, more than 100 leaders from 54 churches in the Apostles Mission Network gathered for their fall retreat at Rockbridge Camp nestled in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia. The time away cultivated community in an atmosphere of encouragement, relaxation and recreation.

Celebrating Longevity
Members of Light of Christ (TLC) Anglican Church in Denver, Colorado, celebrated the church's tenth anniversary on October 31, giving thanks to God for the way He has used leaders from the congregation to plant churches in other parts of North America over the past decade. Bishop Sandy Greene preached, founding TLC pastor, the Rev. Gerry Schnackenberg, celebrated Holy Eucharist and all enjoyed a potluck lunch afterward.

New Birth in Denver
Church of the Advent in Denver, a church plant from Wellspring Anglican Church in Englewood, Colorado, held their first preview service on Sunday evening, October 10 with 49 in attendance.

Investing in Leaders
Fifty leaders from the Rocky Mountain Network gathered on October 29-30 at Emmaus Anglican Church in Castle Rock, Colorado, to participate in a Fall Ministry Leaders Retreat centered on the theme: Doing Incarnational Ministry. The goal of the retreat was to communicate practical approaches that train and release congregants for ministry and leadership.
Tom McGee, former pastor and Vice President of Triple Creek Associates, an International Mentoring Organization, and the Rev. Bob Grant, Coaching Leader for theAM's Rocky Mountain region, led three interactive sessions that challenged and equipped leaders of all levels.

theAM Hosts a Series of Fall Leadership Retreats
This fall, the Anglican Mission held three retreats for leaders to share information as well as enjoy fellowship and worship together. Mission Network teams met in Little Rock October 10-13 with featured presentations by Bishop Chuck Murphy, Canon Allen Hughes and Archdeacon H Miller. Our Missionary Bishops met for a retreat in Pawleys Island November 1-4, and Bishop Murphy hosted a retreat for Anglican Mission Presbyters November 9-11. Such gatherings enhance and strengthen theAM's commitment to relational leadership and the steady flow of information.

News from Rwanda- The Rwanda House of Bishops unanimously elected the Rev. Emmanuel Ngendahayo as the Bishop Elect for Byumba Diocese. He will be consecrated on January 9, 2011.
- Bishop Elect Louis Muvunyi will be installed on December 12 as the new Bishop of Kigali Diocese.
- Bishop Laurent Mbanda was installed November 14 as the new Bishop of Shyira.
