Bishop Todd Hunter Expands Missional Focus

Bishop Todd HunterAs a missionary movement, theAM has learned the value of flexibility in leadership. To effectively fulfill our vision for evangelism through church planting, the individual roles of our bishops are still being shaped and clarified. Groovin' for Rwanda: Raising Awareness
and Support

The work week is winding down in the bustling town of Washington, DC. On this Friday evening, young professionals from local Anglican Mission congregations gather in the historic Eastern Market's North Hall. Their footsteps shuffle along the hardwood floor; laughter bounces off the vaulted ceilings. Ticket holders learn swing and "two-step" moves - and get to help a mission team bring reconciliation.

St. Matthews advertises their Diaper Ministry on the back of the float, making people aware of the outreach that helps those in need.
St Matthew's Diaper Bank
As balloons drift skyward beyond arms reach, crowds below fill in the gaps between street lamps dotting the sidewalks of downtown Lapeer, Michigan. Visitors from miles away browse booths with handmade crafts and artwork. It's a muggy August Saturday morning, time for the annual Lapeer Days Parade. After a three-year hiatus from entering a float, the congregation of St. Matthews Church is making their presence known as a place of help for those suffering because of the severe local economic downturn.
