New Book Helps Unlock Secrets of the Soul
Journaling is much more than keeping a diary of everyday events. Author Lynette Goldy says, "It's a way to make sense of deep thoughts and dreams, our fears and hopes." That's the goal of Goldy's first book, Those A-ha Moments: Spiritual Growth Through Journaling.
Lynette is the wife of priest, Eric Goldy, who pastors an Anglican Mission church, Community of Acts in Pueblo West, Colorado.
The book becomes available online May 11 from Publish America and includes blank pages for readers to use as a starting point for their own thoughts. Learn more here.

Two Bishops to Serve in Rwanda
CORRECTION:An all-Africa news article has erroneously reported that Bishop-elect Louis Muvunyi has been elected to succeed Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini as Primate of the Province of the Anglican Church of Rwanda. Bishop-elect Muvunyi will be consecrated this summer and assume his position as Bishop of the Kigali Diocese upon Archbishop Kolini's retirement, but there has NOT been an election for the position of archbishop.
 Archbishop Kolini, President Kagame
and Bishop Mbanda at consecration service. On March 27, 2010, the Rev. Louis Muvunyi was elected Bishop Coadjutor of the Kigali Diocese. He currently serves as the Director and founder of Alpha School for Children in Kigali.
On the same day, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Laurent Mbanda was consecrated as Bishop Coadjutor of Shyira Diocese and will become Diocesan Bishop following the retirement of Bishop John Rucyahana, who has served the Diocese since 1997. Speaking at the consecration service, Rwandan President Paul Kagame noted: "All leaders, be it in government or church, should have a sense of responsibility and accountability to those they are responsible for."

Bhutanese Refugees Respond to the Gospel Message
Reaching people with the Gospel in a US urban city can be challenging, especially when many of the people don't speak English and are of Hindu belief. That's exactly the circumstances that faced Gregory Lynn and his Lutheran minister friend last September when the pair went door-to-door in a Phoenix apartment complex filled with many Bhutanese refugees.
Gregory, the Pastoral Intern at Desert Mission Anglican (DMAC) in Phoenix, Arizona, explains: "We began knocking on doors and met Kumar, 24, who spoke good English and told us he wanted to learn more about Jesus," explains Greg. "He invited us in for Pepsi and peaches and became our man of peace in the complex."

Pine Straw Pays Off!
As warm, spring weather drifts into the southeastern part of the US, it is a common practice for residents in Raleigh, North Carolina, to fill their flower beds with fresh pine needles following winter's harsh effects. What is not common is 40 high school students volunteering to unload 1900 bales of the pine straw for families living around the city on a Saturday afternoon.
