Bristol Ballet is kicking of the new Ballroom classes with a Ballroom Bash on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Meet and greet begins at 7 PM with the class to follow beginning at 7:30PM. Social dancing and refreshments will follow the class.

The instructor is Ashby Dickerson, who loves to dance and to teach dance when he's not practicing administrative law at PennStuart in Abingdon. He guarantees you will learn to swing dance and improve your dancing. He also teaches dance lessons at the Southwest Virgina Higher Education Center, Virginia Highlands Community College, and Emory and Henry College. As a member of the U>S> Amateur Ballroom Dance Association, he attends dance workshops all over the country.

Regular classes will follow the initial Bash beginning on October 9 and continuing on the second Friday of the month thereafter. Gathering will begin at 7 PM with the class and social to follow.
