This is Not the South

We are very pleased to announce that our film "This is Not the South" is finally finished and is about to premiere!  The owner of the Abingdon Cinemall has kindly agreed to host showings of our film during the first week of the Highlands Festival.  The film will be shown from Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 with showtimes at noon and 7:30pm.  The ticket price is $5.00.  The Cinemall is located on Lee Highway in Abingdon approximately a mile south of exit 19 off of I81.

We are extremely proud of the film, and feel that it has turned out as well as it has because of the help and support of so many of you.  "This is Not the South" shows off the beauty of the Bristol/Abingdon region, and we hope will attract even more attention and tourism to the area. 
 
"This is Not the South" is now under consideration for a dozen film festivals, including two internationally, and we have plans to enter more as our budget allows.  We'll keep you posted as we (hopefully) receive notification of the film's acceptance into the festivals.
 
Please spread the word about the film!  Derek and I will be there for the first few showings and would love to see you there.
