AACA Museum announces the
departure of Executive Director Michael J. Barrett

Hershey, PA (June 19, 2012) Michael J. Barrett, the Executive Director of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum has announced that he will leave the Museum later this year. The timing of his departure is consistent with the plans he made known to the Museum Board at the time he was hired. Mr. Barrett intends to spend more time with his family and pursue other personal interests.
The Museum Board of Directors appreciates Mr. Barrett's service and contributions to the Museum, and Mr. Barrett thanks the Museum's Board, Volunteers and Professional Staff for their support over the past two years in helping make the Museum "A World Class Automotive Experience." The Museum's Board of Directors will immediately begin a search for a new Executive Director.

The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900's - 1970's in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco. The AACA Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation's newest and largest automotive museums. Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles. The AACA Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE.
