Pennsylvania Automotive Association hosts
Students From Ten Pennsylvania Schools to Compete in
2012 Automotive Technology Competition

On February 16, 2012, the above students will compete in the PAA Automotive Technology Competition for scholarships and prizes. The winning school will advance to the 2012 National Automotive Technology Competition at the New York International Auto Show.
A team of two students from the ten top schools were selected for the competition through a written qualifying exam, in which a pool of 135 students from 20 schools participated. To prepare for the competition, students are currently training at new car dealerships in their areas. On competition day, the students will face a test of advanced automotive diagnostic skills on 2012 vehicles with predetermined defects. The diagnostic skills challenge will take place at the AACA Museum and the public is permitted to watch live. The vehicles will be supplied by area franchised dealerships.

About the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum:
The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900's - 1970's in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco. The AACA Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation's newest and largest automotive museums. Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles. The AACA Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE.
