Hershey, PA (January 27, 2012).  Each year Hershey features special events and activities throughout the town centered on our heritage of what else -- chocolate! To celebrate, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum has several activities available for visitors during the month of February.

 

Daily Activities:

 

The original Hershey's Kissmobile Cruiser -- a unique vehicle that has traveled the country featuring a trio of giant Hershey's Kisses is on display daily at the AACA Museum - a must have photo opportunity for all!  Our retail store offers a Kissmobile model vehicle that makes a unique Valentines gift for the car lover or the little ones in your life.

How many kisses can you find?  The Hershey's Kiss Scavenger Hunt gives guests the opportunity of locate plush Hershey's Kisses hidden all over the AACA Museum just waiting to be found! One lucky winner will be selected from all those who participate to win a 5 lb. Hershey's Chocolate Bar courtesy of The Hershey Company.

 

The Museum is also proud to showcase our series of murals depicting downtown Hershey during the 1920's. These magnificent murals were recently unveiled by mural artist David Naydock, a Pennsylvania resident. So look carefully to see if you can identify any of the buildings from Hershey during the 1920's.

Special Activities on Select dates:

 

"Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" is a classic family film that we will be showing in our indoor drive-in theatre on February 4, 5, 11, 12, 20, 25 & 26. Show times will be at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM for each of these dates.

Love is in the air on Sunday, February 19th as the AACA Museum showcases our 3rd annual Wedding Show!   We're expecting more than 100 of Central Pennsylvania's premiere wedding vendors, from caterers and photographers to bridal attire, cakes and so much more!   The annual cake dive worth thousands of dollars in prizes, a dream giveaway for a new Louis Vuitton handbag and much more make this an event not to be missed!

On President's Day February 20th - we will be offering our young guests the opportunity to create your own Kissmobile out of Hershey's chocolate products from 11AM - 2 PM.   The Roads to Rails model train display will be running with everyone's favorite - Thomas the Tank Engine.  Best of all admission on President's Day will be just $5.00 for everyone.   No additional coupons or discounts will be accepted.

AACA Museum's current featured exhibit is Treasures from the Museum Collection a variety of magnificent American luxury cars from the 1930's-1950's showcasing styling changes over the decades assembled together in on Cammack Gallery from February 1-12th.

The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900's - 1970's in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco.   The AACA Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation's newest and largest automotive museums.  Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles.  The AACA Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE.  The Museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with last admission at 4:00 PM.   For further information, please call 717-566-7100 or visit www.AACAMuseum.org.
