Hershey, PA (January 5, 2012).  Looking for a fun winter activity to get out of the house?  Visit a treasure in your own backyard.  The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum is offering its guests a special $5 admission price (50% off our regular price) and special activities on January 21 and 22.   Children 3 and under are always free. 

 

AACA Museum will be featuring a new special exhibit Treasures from the Museum Collection a variety of magnificent American luxury cars from the 1930's-1950's showcasing styling changes over the decades assembled together in on Cammack Gallery.  For our younger visitors we'll be showing the original Disney-Pixar "Cars" movie at our indoor drive-in theatre at 10:30 AM and again at 2:00 PM.   All guests can take place in our Museum wide scavenger hunt.  Our interactive photo stop and kids area round out some of our family favorites.

 

ABOUT THE AACA MUSEUM:
The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900's - 1970's in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco.   This Museum, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, is one of the nation's newest and largest automotive museums.  Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles.  The Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE  Special Admission price January 21 & 22 is $5.00.  The Museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.   The Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.  For further information, please call 717-566-7100 or visit www.AACAMuseum.org.
