Hershey, PA (October 11, 2011).   Gather up your miniature ghosts and goblins and head over to the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey for a bit of Halloween fun!    All visitors 12 and under will be eligible to participate in the AACA Museum's "Trunk or Treat" program included with Museum admission.   As a special "treat" for all our visitors, admission will be just $5.00 per person all day on October 29th.

The first stop will be where kids can decorate their own "Treat" bags using various car and Halloween stamps, stickers, markers and more.   Once they've personalized their own treat bag, the hunt will begin to locate a variety of "Trunk or Treat" spots within the main and lower levels of the Museum.    Treats will be given to each child 12 and under at each of these treat locations throughout the Museum.  Treat products are being provided by our generous sponsor:  The Hershey Company.

This is a fun and safe way for kids to enjoy the Halloween holiday and a great addition to the unique exhibits that the Museum offers throughout the year.   "We're always looking for ways to engage our visitors" says Nancy Gates, the Director of Marketing and Publicity for the Museum "this opportunity allows us to tie together the love of the car hobby with treats for kids as they explore the history and fun of the car collecting hobby."

Other special activities will include:

* Halloween themed videos will be played in our 50's themed drive-in theatre so everyone can get into the spirit.

* The overall Halloween theme will be complimented with a hearse display featuring a wooden body 1924 REO Funeral Hearse, and a Harley Davidson motorcycle hearse among others.  (On view Oct. 15 - Oct. 31)

Special note:  We are asking all miniature ghosts, goblins, pirates and more to leave any sharp or pointed costume accessories at home so as not to injure other guests or Museum vehicles.

The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900's - 1970's in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco.   The AACA Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation's newest and largest automotive museums.  Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles.  The AACA Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE.  On October 29, admission is just $5 per person.   The Museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  For further information, please call 717-566-7100 or visit www.aacamuseum.org.
