This class can give you skills in playing music that can soothe the heart & soul and inspire your personal creativity. Playing the flute can help to make you aware of your breathing and assist in meditation.   

Ian will teach you finger placement, various ways to use your breath, and will work with you to find your personal style and feeling.  He will also show you tips and tricks that he has learned over the many years that he has been working with it's medicine.

The children of the new millennium are here with abundant and amazing gifts.  When not embraced by their peers and society at-large, the journey of both the child and their family can be scary, isolating and confusing.  Come connect with other parents and kids, meet like-minded friends, find answers and support for your phenomenal child, and realize you are not alone.  We will hold a monthly group meeting with a topic of discussion with activities for both parents and children (of all ages). 

This is a non-denominational program, open to All!

A $10 minimum per family Love Offering would be appreciated at each meeting to cover the rental fee, and supplies for future meetings.

The pendulum, whether an elaborately carved piece of crystal on a chain or a ring on a piece of string, is one of the easiest ways to tuning into the intuitive powers we all possess but may find hard to trust. Learn basic insight into pendulums and how to make them work for you.

You will learn to determine vitamin and mineral requirements; find out what food suits you best; tap your intuitive and psychic powers; use it in accessment for alternative therapies - and much more. Not only is it recommended for those who have not used the pendulum before, and would like to learn, but this workshop will also be beneficial to those interested in the field of psychic development in general.

 The heart stands at the center of all energies and unifies our being as a whole. Rose quartz opens the heart chakra to complete unconditional love. While the vibration of Rose Quartz is soft and gentle, it is also very powerful.     

Surround yourself in calming and nurturing energies as we journey into the heart of Rose Quartz. You will be led in guided meditations as the rhythms of the drum and rattle, and flute notes will help bring you into a trance like state to deepen your experience. Explore the clear and healing tones of quartz crystal singing bowls while we open ourselves to receive visions, messages and guidance from another level of our consciousness.    

Please wear comfortable clothing. A journal notebook and an eye cover are encouraged.  Please bring along what comforts (such as a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow) you will need for the floor.

Join the Lenape Native Americans for a day of fun.There will be Native American crafters, food and dancing. Also included in the event will be our 1500's era Lenape Village, storytelling, face painting and Lenape games.

The beat of the drum is the heartbeat of Mother Earth, and connects us to our own heart.

Making a drum is really a transformational journey into our hearts.   

The drum is a part of native heritage from tribal cultures all over the world. This single sided shaman drum is a traditional native drum crafted using a wooden hoop or frame and a stretched rawhide head and lacing. Covered on only one side, the back is laced to form the symbol of a medicine wheel with the four cardinal directions that also serve as a hand hold. Great for drumming circles and meditation.  

In this workshop you will be supplied everything you need to create your own frame drum and accompanying beater. While you are making your creations Valarie and Ian will teach you the care and feeding of your drum, as well as how to use them in healing and cleansing ceremonies. We will sing songs and tell stories throughout the two days.

On Friday evening we will begin with a Drum Journey to connect to the Heartbeat of the Drum, and soak our individual hides.  Saturday morning we will join together again and start the process of creating our drums and beaters.  After creating the drum, we'll celebrate its birth with a special ceremony.  Birthing a drum is an intense process, one not easily forgotten.The drum face can later be painted with your Animal Totem or designs. You can also personalize the drum with beads and feathers to strengthen the connection with your drum.  

$165 Registration includes all materials for a 14" diameter drum and beater.  All other materials will be provided and are included in the price of the workshop. If you have some special beads or feathers which you'd like to decorate your drum you may also bring them.
