Join us as we drum for PEACE!
A community is a special thing. We are lucky to have so many people in this area that share the same interests and goals - come out and meet them! It is our hope to strengthen the bonds that unite us in this area. Please join us for an open drum circle where we will make music and have FUN! Our focus will be on drumming for peace and the healing of the earth.
Please bring ANY instruments you have - drums, rattles, etc. If you don't have a drum - even more reason to come! There will be plenty of instruments to share.
No reservations required - Hope to see you there! Children of any age are welcome, cherished, and loved - please bring them so they can participate!! There is no charge for this event. Free Event for Kids!
Stop by Soulutions with your children and grandchildren this Saturday! Around 1 pm Valarie and Ian will be offering crafts, story time, and drumming and singing for kids of all ages! There will also be many other offerings, performances and classes!
Newtown's First Saturday
State Street event will feature live music, face painting, street performers,
various discounts offered by participating businesses, sidewalk sales, carriage
rides and discounts at local restaurants.
First Saturday Newtown,
as it is being called, will be held between noon and 7 p.m. It's a really great event going on here in a fantastic little town.

Conscious Parenting for Aware Kids Meeting

Join us for our first meeting!
The Conscious Parenting for Aware Kids group is committed to
honoring children, everywhere; to providing them with a voice; to learning the
lessons they can teach us; to celebrating their differences; and to challenging
society's outdated way of doing things in order to better serve their
needs.
The children of the new
millennium are here with abundant and amazing gifts. When not embraced by
their peers and society at-large, the journey of both the child and their
family can be scary, isolating and confusing.
Come connect with other parents and kids, meet like-minded friends, find
answers and support for your phenomenal child, and realize you are not
alone. We will hold a monthly group meeting with a topic of discussion
with activities for both parents and children (of all ages).
This is a non-denominational program, open to All!
We have some great activities in store for this month - please have
children in attendance bring their favorite metaphysical item for a Metaphysical
Show and Tell planned just for them.
All in attendance will be designing a Creative Expression of You to share
with the group. We'll have crayons, colored pencils, paints,
and colored pastels to assist with this activity - please bring any other
supplies you and your children would like to use.
Parents - please bring ideas about how you would like your family to benefit
from these meetings for a parent discussion while the kids do their show and
tell.
A $5 minimum per family Love Offering would be appreciated at each meeting to cover the
rental fee, supplies for future meetings, and snacks.

The Reiki Level II
Attunement increases the amount of healing energy when treating the self and
others, and focuses on emotional and mental healing. During this class,
you will continue your Reiki training by learning the Usui Reiki symbols. You
will also learn how to send Reiki to others who are not with you presently
(Distance Reiki), learn to send Reiki energy to heal past events, and how to
send Reiki to events in the future. The Reiki Level II Attunement opens
your Reiki pathway, allowing more Reiki to easily flow through you. Upon
completion of this course, you will be a certified Usui Reiki Level II
Practitioner.
Class Description
- Learn the symbols for Reiki treatments and practice
using them in a session
- Attunements to Reiki Level II
- Learn how to do Distance Reiki
- Learn how to send Reiki to past and future events
- Reiki II techniques to use on yourself and others
- Receive a Reiki II Manual
- Receive a Reiki Level II Practitioner Certificate upon
completion
This class is a combination of lecture, creative expression, discussion
and experience. Practice time includes providing and receiving Reiki treatment
with the use of symbols and distant healing, and discussion with homework.
Investment:
$250.
Preregistration is REQUIRED. A Deposit of $50 is required hold your
space by June 4th. Balance due by class date. Space limited to only

We invite all Reiki level 1 and beyond practitioners to join in the exchange of loving, healing Reiki energy. There is no charge for this sharing, but snacks to pass or donations to the Peace Center are appreciated. NEWLY ADDED: Due to
the need and request of Reiki for those not attuned, we will now be opening up the Reiki Share from 4:30-5:30
pm on these dates as a NO-CHARGE opportunity for the community to
receive Reiki from practitioners wishing to volunteer their time!
This is not a requirement for those attending the shares, as the share will be over at 4 pm, and those
wishing to participate may stay. Anyone who would like Reiki, is
curious about it, or needs it, is welcome to come to
the Peace Center between 4:30-5:30 pm. Please contact us with any
questions. It is our honor and privilege to be able to share the

"Sound structures energy fields and brings the physical into
existence."
Come on a transformational journey through the 7 wheels of
consciousness! After an overview of the Chakra System and Sound
Healing, we'll move through the 7 Chakras from root to crown in a
guided meditation, learning experientially through sound about these
spinning 'wheels of light' and their very practical application to our
lives. Feel the soundscape of crystal singing bowls, and other sound
healing instruments re-frequencing each chakra while finding your own
unique, dynamic balance.
Please wear comfortable clothing. A journal notebook and a bandana
are encouraged. Pre-registration required for this special event.
