Well done Bill Chesarek----Bill and Barb will be retiring this month after some 45 years service to our Army. Bill entered active duty in 1965 out of Montana State University and deployed with the Regiment to Vietnam in 1966 with B Troop. He had an outstanding array of Armor and Cavalry assignments, retiring in 1992. Bill continued his service as a Department of Army Civilian. His present job is as Chief, Global Restructuring and Rebasing Division/USAREUR G3.

General Carter Ham stated recently "Somehow, USAREUR simply won't be the same without Bill and Barb on this side of the ocean. He is a unique character and one who has made a lasting contribution to our Nation. His influence on a generation of Army leaders will be felt for a long time".

We wish Bill and Barb great happiness in retirement after almost half a century of service to our Nation.
