Greetings!

Mother's Day Radio is proud to announce that we are featured in this week's L.A. Watts Times!   If you are in Los Angeles, please be sure to grab your copy today.  If you are outside of the L.A. area, you can check us out at www.lawattstimes.com or click on the picture above to go directly to the article.

Also, catch us for a hot minute as we run through the KPFK studios today to drop in on host, Thandisizwe Chimurenga to spread the word about this weekend's events on "Some of Us Are Brave." This airs at 2pm pacific time on 90.7fm in L.A., 98.7fm in Santa Barbara and www.kpfk.org worldwide.

Then, catch us Friday morning at 9:30 am on The Hutchinson Report, KTYM Radio 1460 AM and nationwide on ktym.com and blogtalkradio.com.

We give a special thank you to the hosts and producers of "Beautiful Struggle" on kpfk for an outstanding show this past Tuesday. They featured two of our artists who will be throwing down on the mic this Friday night (Ms. Kelley Nicole) and Sunday night (Ms. Kelley Nicole AND Nailah Porter aka "NAILAH").  We had a ball hanging out with you, Michael and Penny, and we appreciate the love!  If you missed it, be sure to check the archives at kpfk.org.

Most importantly, we ask that you please come out and join us this weekend as we highlight a different level of artistry.  We often say that there is an alternative to the degradation and misrepresentation; we want to SHOW it to you! We believe it is critical for us to BE who and what we say is possible! So, this weekend is for YOU and it is for the women that you LOVE.

We kick our events off on Friday with a multi-media presentation called "Shattered Glass on the Kitchen Floor."  We continue on Saturday morning with an ocean side circle called "We Honor our Mothers."  And then we bring the weekend to its peak with the "Ladies in White" Benefit Concert, featuring a line up of AMAZING professional artists!

This is for YOU and your mother, your wife, your daughter, your sister, and your friends.  Won't you come join us...
