March 2009
Dear :

Two years and one day from the day we sent out the first A Rose of Thanks card (February 14, 2007), we received a card from one of our troops in the Gulf postmarked February 15, 2009.  But the coolest thing about the card is that is was A Rose of Thanks card sent back to us!  Yes, it was personalized and the note on the inside said "thank you for all the stuff you have sent over".

We have also received five more letters from the Governors of Alabama, Montana, Maine, Kentucky and South Carolina.  Three of these forwarded our cards onto other people or organizations in their states.

A special "thank you" goes out to Hannah Murray, a dear friend, who after reading last month's newsletter chose to make a donation through our website.  Thank you, Hannah!

And thank you to Matthew Bugg, a principal in the Palm Desert United School District, who will be making a presentation to 20 principals on our behalf to get other schools in the La Quinta, CA area involved with A Rose of Thanks.

Books to Watch Out For

Watch for the upcoming book, "How to Conquer the Business World with Kindness, from the authors of "The Power of Nice", Linda Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval.
