A Rose of Thanks is continuing to grow due to the help of many people, like David & Elizabeth Ross & Cynthia Roy, from my networking group in Concord, NC.
I was reading a book the other day that said the number one way for a non profit to chase off donors is to say "NO" for them and not ask for their donation.
So, I am taking that advice and I am asking for a donation, whether it be $5 or $100,000. A Rose of Thanks has grown to where it is today because everyone that has come in contact with it has taken an ownership role in it. By making a donation now, it will ensure that A Rose of Thanks will continue to grow. You can click on the "donate now" button on the left and that will take you to our secure website. Or, to mail a check send to A Rose of Thanks, c/o Cynthia Roy, PO Box 944, Concord, NC 28026.
Donations are used for the following:
- Print more cards
- Pay for postage
- Public relations
- Event fees
There are alternative ways to donate, too! We could use a laptop computer and printer/scanner for use on the road.
At LuLu.com, we have created a 2009 calendar. A portion of the calendar proceeds will go directly to A Rose of Thanks.
Boxes of cards are also available for purchase. A box of 10 is only $12.00.
