Greetings!
We have recently designed two additional cards, bringing the total to four different cards for A Rose of Thanks! The coolest thing is that they are simple, yet powerful changes from the original message. Sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it that makes a difference.
Here are our four cards, and how a few changes can make the difference:
Original:
Thinking of you,
Wishing you
a safe and speedy return home.
Thank You
for defending
the US and us!
Holiday:
Thinking of you,
Wishing you
a safe and Joyous Holiday Season.
Card for Wounded Veterans:
Thinking of you,
Wishing you
a safe and speedy recovery.
Penpal Card: (Created to assist another non profit on a humanitarian mission.)
This card is blank on the inside and includes an address block on the back where the person signing the card can put their name, address and email on it.
As you can see, the changes were simple yet powerful. I have had a few people say that I have inspired them over the last year. I'm just the pizza guy from Charlotte, NC, how can I inspire someone? It is an awesome responsibility and privilege to inspire anyone.
What inspires me are the simplest things that we take for granted. I took the time to drive across our great country since the last newsletter. To see the natural beauty we have was amazing. While I was out in California, I picked up cards from the Writer's Guild of America; took a tour of
Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum; but what inspired me the most was the two hours I spent with
Sonya Gay Bourn, President of The Gondobay Manga Foundation and
Jemma Jacques, Founder of Dreams Can Come True, discussing their work and their passion for their non profits.
