Evelyn Brooks Designs announces a joint venture with the Missouri Botanical Gardens, bringing her collection of sustainable and eco-chic jewelry designs to the Garden Gate Shop. All proceeds benefit the Missouri Botanical Garden.
As a strong believer in giving back to the community, Evelyn Brooks practices socially responsible business. "Our designs are more than simply jewelry. They connect people, cultures, and communities, and represent opportunities to contribute to a sustainable world."
Brooks' exotic, Peruvian inspired jewelry collection has been worn by Donna Karen and her signature charms were designed exclusively for Fashion Fights Poverty's 2007 "Dress Responsibly" campaign. The Washington, D.C. -based jeweler works with precious metals, natural gemstones, and seeds from the Amazons.
Her passion for giving back to the community has brought her widespread acclaim and Council Magazine recently recognized her as an entrepreneur on the rise 2009.
Evelyn Brooks Designs will also be showcased in the Missouri Botanical Garden's Green Arts Festival, November 13 -14, 2010.
