 Samarah's Sharing
My Dear Friends,
Until this week and for much of
this year, my tyrant has had a pretty tight grip on my heart. For me, the tyrant takes the voice of
defeatism. My tyrant says, "See, I told
you that you could not live in Hawaii like you wanted to. "I told you that times were too tough to do
well." I told you that it was hard to
make a living as a spiritual guide and teacher." "You have never finished that book you keep talking about writing
because the truth is you have nothing to say."
You get the idea. I have been fighting it. I knew it was not serving me to have these
thoughts but the "evidence" was mounting that this voice knew reality from
"pipe dreams." The more I listened, the
more the evidence mounted, despite my best intentions and despite what I know
in the truth of my heart. Goliath was
dominating my life.
Luckily for me, my Spirit and my
angelic band were working overtime to get me out of this funk and back into my
light hearted and light filled true self.
The last few days I had a number of "ah ha" moments and lots of lots of
support. I sat down to write the
newsletter a number of times and nothing would come. I knew I could not honor myself and the love of Mother Mary until
I could get out of the tyrant's grip.
Strangely enough, the first
reminder came at a meeting where a woman I had not seen for about 7 years
called to me from across the room. We
hugged and said hello and the memory of the last encounter I had with her came
back. I had sold a home in Scottsdale
to a doctor and his wife and left my mortgage in place with a payoff due in a
year. The day I was to get the money I
was told that the doctor had run off to Europe with his new lover and there was
no money to pay me. I asked for a
miracle and kept repeating the mantra to myself "This will turn out to be a
blessing in every way and better than it would have otherwise."
I needed $40,000 within
forty-eight hours if I was to close on my new house. I stopped at one friend's house on my way home that I knew might
have that kind of money to lend me for the short term. He had just gotten in that night from a
business trip and after hearing my story, said he could give me $20,000 but
that was all that he had liquid at the time.
Feeling half way encouraged and
half way defeated, I went home and played back the messages on my answer
machine. One was from a woman that I
knew slightly requesting a reading.
Tired and out of sorts, I still felt to return her call. As I did, I found myself telling her about
the events of the day and how I was short $20,000 and did not know how I would
get that on such short notice. I will
never forget her next words, "I have always wanted to live in that area. I will lend you the money and I would like
to see the house. If I want to buy it,
consider the $20,000 a down payment, and if not, I will just have your repay me
when you sell it.
Now keep in mind I barely knew
this woman and I needed the money in two days.
She wired the money to me the next day and she wound up buying the house
and moving in. In the spirit of
win/win, I gave the doctor's wife her down payment back so she could have a
fresh start and I still netted an extra $25,000 for the new sales price. I closed on my new house and we all moved
on.
When I ran into my rescuer a few
days ago, I felt the Universe working overtime to remind me that miracle
thinking results in miracles, just as defeatist thinking creates defeat. Today I write to you having wrestled my
tyrant to the ground. I choose to ride
this tsunami of light into the new earth dreams that I hold. I love you all so much and I am so blessed
to have a way to share my light and joy.
When I feel the love of Mother Mary and all of our angels and when I
channel and when I smell the flowers or watch the dolphins jump, I know this
earth can be our paradise.
May
we all find the courage to surf this wave to freedom, to joy, to peace and
purpose and passion. Be joyful my
friends...Make a joyful noise and let the tyranny end and the co-creations
