I have been thinking a lot about the state of our country and the world.  I have pondered  what it might take to change a society from one that is predominantly materialistic to one that can balance matter and spirit.

All of this has led me to go inside for that is where I find solace and can mend any damage to the inner fountain that allows my Spirit to shine.  Inside I feel a strange calm and a sense like the stillness before a storm.  I see this current global storm as a kind of spiritual tsunami that is sweeping through our world and bringing to light the deceptions, suffering and difficulties that many of us have ignored or wished would be healed or solved by others.

I have listened to each of the Presidential candidates as they shared their views and their intentions to help create change and find solutions.  Still, I felt like there was a giant piece of the puzzle missing.  Then it hit me.  Our political leadership cannot do this alone.  The infrastructures and the massive waste of government bureaucracy are not built around a unifying vision.  There are too many stops and starts and dead ends. It has to be replaced and like the aging infrastructure that is keeping our planes from being able to take off and land with ease, we are trying to run a country on old machinery that has been mended and patched too many times and that no longer serves us.

There is a new vision for sky travel and space travel...how about a new vision for a world that treasures natural resources, values each of the citizens of every age, cares for the animals and plant life that nourish us and works diligently to offer the very healthiest foods?  What if we created a world that has dedicated spaces outdoors for people to enjoy and commune with nature and with their Spirit? There are so many beautiful changes that we could make that would create healthy lives and lessen our demand for "healthcare" that is really "ill care".

I believe that we each can offer a piece to solve this gigantic puzzle and like any complex solution we all must find and share what we know and what we see so that inspirational solutions can be built with love and wisdom.

There can no longer be any abdication of personal responsibility.  It is simply not going to work.  We are the ones we have been waiting for and we must stretch beyond what we have known and allow the inspiration and genius that is within us to be articulated and to become the foundations of the new creations in education, health care, government, family, and well being.

I know that I am a writer and a channel and a Realtor so I am using all of these streams to share who I am and what I know.  I invite each of us to say "Yes I can and yes I will be part of the amazing and inspired creations that will allow our true genius and our love to nourish our planet and each other.
