Attention Ohio Residents:Our window of opportunity to pass the Heartbeat Bill is right now! We are gearing up for a big final push to get it passed before summer.
Be sure to get one or multiple copies of the Columbus Dispatch next Tuesday. It should be available at some stores and newsstands statewide and will include a full-page ad for the Heartbeat Bill. Please send the ad to your state senator and include this message: "Don't gut or delay the Heartbeat Bill."
We are urging people to make calls Senator Scott Oelslager today at 614-466-0626 and urge him to call for a vote on the fully protective Heartbeat Bill.
Prayer Points: Pray for the effectiveness of a full-page ad that's being placed in next Tuesday's edition of the Columbus Dispatch about the Heartbeat Bill. Pray that many will make the calls and send a copy of the ad to their state senator as requested.
Pray that Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus will move forward with committee and full floor votes on the Heartbeat Bill. Pray for a change of heart in some of the Senators toward full support of it.
Pray that nothing will be done to "gut" the bill or to take out the parts that offer real protection for unborn babies. |
