Our old Twitter account got so clogged with eBay SPAM, FaceBook Pushes and other non-human garbage that we shut it down. Gary started a new account, tabula rasa, and it's real! How NOT to Hold the Bow
YouTube In the last Upton Report I featured Craig Butterfield playing over a trumpet solo with his double bass. I got a LOT of comments about Craig's playing ability. I also get asked pretty frequently how to hold a bow properly. So...off to YouTube I go with a quest to find the perfect video "how to". WOW! After previewing HUNDREDS of videos, I found this video on YouTube that makes it look so easy! Trust me...I have mucked through poor audio quality, poor technique, silliness and indecency in my efforts...and this video by Michael Klinghoffer is as good as it gets. Take a look at Michael's other videos as well...you might learn a thing or two that will make you a better player! |

YouTubeWell done flash-mobs have been a YouTube craze for a bit now. I say well done...because some are not! This one is, and starts off with a little double bass, which makes it extremely relevant!
