So I sat down tonight to write this week's Upton Report. My mind was blank. I've a lot on my mind (those closest to me will tell you this is true)...but to write a report...it was blank.
I searched YouTube for "jazz double bass" and stumbled upon these two guys in a basement. I listened. I watched. I loved it.
It didn't matter to these two that they were in a basement, just in front of a camera. It could have been the most popular jazz club in NYC with standing room only. I think the performance would have been the same. I feel that they feel what they are trying to do...and that makes all the difference.
So, without further ado, I bring you some Friday night double bass goodness!
