I'll admit to having a good chuckle watching some of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra auditions. Most of the players are fine...it was just the 2010 audition piece did not translate to a "solo performance" very well. But...I have neither the chops, time....or guts to actually audition myself. The 2011 YouTube Symphony audition deadline is just 10 days away as I write this (November 28th, 2010 to be exact) and I think it would be great to see some of you try. Send me your link of your audition and I promise not to even snicker the slightest bit! In fact, I'll send you a "mystery gift", courtesy of Upton Bass, just for doing so!
