Greetings!

Happy Friday everyone!

Well last week really struck a chord with a lot of you...I got a ton of eMails, calls and even some discussions in the shop with those who stopped in.  THANK YOU!  I'm going to start putting up a link to the weeks web version of The Upton Report on our forum www.doublebasschat.com where we can all "chat" together. Check it out!

This has been a week of highs and lows.  I just saw the completion of one of the best basses we have ever built...a very light and responsive Concert...and beautiful too...and then today I had a piece of maple decide it really didn't want to be a bass back after all (different bass!).

So...without further ado, I bring you some Friday night double bass entertainment!

And remember...if you have ANY links, news, videos, etc. you want to share, eMail it to me at eroy@uptonbass.com and I'll be sure to share it.  Oh...and if you just want to say "Hi" you can do that too!

Have a nice weekend!

Eric, don't know if you are on FaceBook or not but here is a link to a video of bassist Brian Bromberg playing some incredible stuff. Please share if you can.

Not sure what to say about this.  I think the videowill speak for itself.  This is for those bassists on the avant-garde noise front.
