Greetings!
 I'm really excited about a bass we just finished! This bass is the last of 4 basses made from the same English Sycamore log Gary bought 5 years ago! The first bass was a fully carved Special Deluxe Concert, and the middle two were Special Deluxe Professors...all very beautiful basses...but not "unique"...or at least not AS unique as this one! This last Professor took a lot of unexpected turns along the way...definitely not where I thought the bass was going when I started...but I welcome what she turned out to be. It's almost like fate knew exactly what this bass was supposed to be and fate kept forcing me to make the decisions along the way that brought me there! She is unique...absolutely beautiful...and she sounds better then she looks! I'm a happy man! YouTube video below featuring yours truly (and the bass of course!). Maybe you could mention the CD "Jasmine-Keith Jarrett and
Charlie Haden", a recording I feel every bassplayer should check out. Music with such
honesty, rare these days.
