● Welcome Center Opens at ASPIRA-Haugan Middle School (AHMS) Campus!
ASPIRA opened the first official Welcome Center for new families at the ASPIRA-Haugan Middle School (AHMS) Campus. The Center provides families with the necessary resources to help students succeed in school and make referrals to partner organizations that provide a wide range of support services in the community.

● Recruitment Campaign in Full Force!
AHMS has engaged in an extensive recruitment campaign that will promote this state-of-the-art school to parents of 5th, 6th and 7th grade students for the 2010-2011 school year.  Marketing materials will continue to be distributed to the media, all ASPIRA schools, ASPIRA Clubs, local businesses, partner organizations, libraries, churches, parks, etc. Parents should register early so that their children have plenty of time to transition. Please help spread the word by forwarding this message to everyone you know.

● Referral  Program Offers Cash!
AHMS believes that equity, excellence, and community partnerships are integral to achieving academic success. Anyone who refers a student for long-term enrollment this next academic year that begins August 2010 will receive a $100 gift card. There are no limitations and everyone is eligible to participate. If you are a business and want to help promote our 2010 Recruitment Campaign, we will help market your business at no cost by placing your business contact information in our ad book to be distributed from our Welcome Center. 

● Parents are encouraged to attend Open House!
Parents are strongly encouraged to attend an Open House on Thursday, April 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm to tour the school, learn about the program and meet the staff. Click here to download the Open House Flyer.
