 Highlights from ASPIRA Early College
On Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 3:45pm our 11th Grade student Qudaneeda Stephenson is hosting "Story Hour" for toddlers. This is an effort to encourage reading at an early age. Reading selections come from AEC's new library as well as books from Qudaneeda's personal book collection.
AEC welcomed newly accepted students from Haugan Middle School at a special Open House on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. During the open house, 7 new students from the class of 2014 attended with their parents.
Our 10th Grade History Teacher Mrs. Kathy Marshall is hosting a student teacher from North Park University - Steve Halm. Mr. Halm will teach U.S. History at AEC for 10 weeks.
AEC also welcomes Meaghan Dowdle who will be teaching English, Spanish I and Spanish II.
