The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning has posted their revisions to the proposed Sign Ordinance which goes to the City Planning Commission for approval on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. This document is a large PDF file (155 pages, 13 MB); please be patient when opening.
You can also find the document online at http://cityplanning.lacity.org/. The main page for the Department of City Planning will open. In the upper right will be a "What's New" box. Select the item "Sign Code Revision", and a page titled "Proposed Ordinances" will come up. Under the section, "Sign Code Revisions" (very near the top), click on the link titled "Supplemental Report & Revised Ordinance - March 18, 2009" to open the PDF.
