United Way of Greenville County YPs are excited to announce new details of the YP Mentor of the Year program.
Presented by Michelin North America, the YP Mentor of the Year program will recognize the impact a mentoring relationship can have on the professional and personal development of young leaders.
We encourage all YP members to nominate someone who has served as their mentor. Be on the lookout for nomination packets in mid-August.
Nominations will be due Oct. 15, with the Mentor of the Year announced during a special event scheduled for Feb. 23, 2011, at the TD Convention Center. Coach Herman Boone, whose story was the basis for the hit film Remember the Titans, will be the featured speaker.

Get involved with our next Born Learning Trail
| |
Our involvement in the Born Learning campaign got off to a great start in the spring with the dedication of our first Born Learning Trail in Cleveland Park. Now, we want to build on this tremendous effort and promote the importance of early learning for our young children with the construction of a second trail this September in the Nicholtown community.
Didn't get a chance to join us for the installation of the first trail in Cleveland Park? E-mail or call Carrie Morningstar at 467-3528 to volunteer with this project.
