Welcome to our Newsletter
I'm very excited about what will be happening this month.
First, I'm introducing permanent lip implants, called PermaLip to our "menu" of procedures. Alma, our laser tech and Christine, aesthetic receptionist, had the procedure done this week and they both love the results. They will be available to the share & show off their first-hand experience to anyone who's interested.
I am planning a Radiesse Savings Day on Tuesday, October 5. Bottom line of the event will be: Buy 1, get 1 Free (savings of $ 450).
The highlight of this month however will be my advanced liposuction course with Dr. Jeffrey Klein, the creator of tumescent liposuction. I don't think it can get better than that when it comes to learning from the procedure inventor himself. Dr. Klein has performed over 8000 liposuctions since introducing them in 1985.
I'm as excited about this course as if I was going on vacation...(5 star hotel, free drinks, spa package, ocean view and private balcony).
Last, but not least I'll be able to observe one of country most experienced injectors of Artefill demonstrating advanced techniques of injecting this long lasting dermal filler.

Introducing the PermaLip Implant
The Answer to Your Lip Enhancement Woes
Lips are often the focal point of the face, so it's no wonder men and women around the world are opting for permanent enhancement. Lip augmentation has become a popular cosmetic procedure and it has never been so easy.
Lip Enhancement Options Temporary solutions typically involve the use of dermal fillers or autologous fat, which is repetitive, and with time becomes costly. Until now permanent solutions have relied on implants that may, due to their surface characteristics, promote tissue ingrowth. This may result in a restriction of movement and an unnatural appearance.
The PermaLip Difference
We are pleased to introduce PermaLip™, the safe, definitive solution for permanent lip augmentation. During extensive clinical testing, PermaLip™ demonstrated terrific results with a level of predictability that gives physicians and patients peace of mind. The PermaLip Procedure The procedure is performed in a simple office setting under local anesthesia. The entire process can take less than thirty minutes and normal activity may be resumed the following day.
Your Lip Enhancement
PermaLip™ is made of a soft, solid silicone elastomer using an injection molding process to produce a naturally contoured implant with a smooth, non-porous surface. The implant cannot rupture or deflate, and may be removed at any time. Available in a variety of lengths and diameters, you can choose the implant that best suits you to achieve a naturally enhanced look. PermaLip™ is the answer.
Lip augmentation with Juvederm or Restylane: $ 500 (every 6-9 months) PermaLip implants: $ 2500 (once!) Mention this newsletter to receive $ 250 OFF the PermaLip implant

How to Strengthen your Immune System
What can you do to protect yourself and your family from getting the flu? The best thing that you can do is strengthen your immune system. This way if you do come in contact with the flu, you body will have the ability to fight it off. 1. Eliminate sugar from your diet. Just a small amount of sugar has been proven to impair white blood cells and scientists at UCLA found that pancreatic cancer cells grew faster when fed with fructose. Make good choices in your diet that include fruits and vegetables and leave the white stuff (sugar, bleached flour, potatoes) alone! 2. Take Vitamin D supplements. Research has shown that people with low levels of vitamin D are more likely to catch cold and flu than people with adequate amounts. A simple blood test will give Dr.Anna the information she needs to assure that you are taking the correct dosage of Vitamin D. 3. Get regular, moderate exercise to rid your lungs of airborne bacteria and viruses that are linked to upper respiratory infections. The increase of blood flow helps circulate antibodies and white blood cells that are necessary to fight infection quickly. 4. Get an adequate amount of sleep each night to allow your body to heal and repair itself. 5. Wash your hands with soap and water often throughout the day. Keep hand sanitizer handy, in your car, purse, on your desk. 6. Take a probiotic to keep your digestive system healthy and increase your body's immune response. 7. Supplement your diet with Echinacea, garlic and increased amounts of vitamin C when you start to feel flu like symptoms coming on. 8. Use a neti pot at least a couple of times per week to thin the mucus in the nasal cavity and allow it to flow more easily out of the body.
I hope to see you soon!
Dr. Anna
