The Arts District along Beekman Street is growing!
After many years of successful summer trips to Saratoga Springs, dynamic professional artist Sharon Crute has decided to set up "shop" at 70-B Beekman Street on a permanent basis. The worldwide recognition of Sharon, who's artwork is collected throughout the U.S. and abroad, illustrates the growing strength of the arts community in Saratoga Springs and especially in the Arts District on Beekman Street.
Sharon Crute Studio will not only showcase Sharon's paintings, but will be utilized as a working studio. While offering her highly in-demand original paintings, she'll also be accepting commissions and selling high quality giclee fine art reproductions as well as a line of gift merchandise. An art leasing service is another option for any original or giclee reproduction. Artwork rentals for specific events will also be provided.
Relocating from Ocala, Florida, Sharon will be sharing the studio space with her husband, Michael Bray, who will continue producing her large format giclee reproductions and offering art consulting and other art-related services. Clients may provide their own original digital files or a photograph to be reproduced on canvas in stunning clarity. Think graduation, weddings, family portraits, your favorite pet, etc.
While Sharon's resume represents an impressive career of national projects and awards, museum exhibits and solo shows, Michael's pursuit of a career in the arts gained valuable experience within various arts organizations and non-profits. He served as Chairman of the Board for the Ocala Municipal Arts Commission and was an active member of the Board of Directors for the Marion Cultural Alliance, also based Ocala. Acting as a liason for the City of Ocala, the Downtown Merchants Association and the artist community, he spearheaded the very successful First Friday Art Walk in downtown Ocala, Florida.
The couple have targeted November 15 as the soft opening for Sharon Crute Studio with a grand opening celebration planned for the December First Saturday Art Walk.
