April 2012 - Issue 4

Dear EWN Members & Friends:

Spring is in full blossom and the EWN Board & Committee slate for the upcoming year is filling out nicely.  We have several new faces who have signed on and are looking for two more to help out with:

Hospitality - Greet our attendees at events, help with check-in, make sure new members have badges prepared, and answer general questions.

Membership - Help us get creative about offering an EWN membership that makes everyone want to join and be "one of the gang".

If you'd like to join a great organization and lend your talents, please contact me or Mindy Kannon.  Discussions are underway to offer some goodies to Board members.  Does that grab your interest?  Contact us today at info@ewn-ct.org!

As always, we look forward to seeing you soon, so check out our upcoming events below and register early!

Kind regards,

Anne Wilkins

 "Networking for Referrals"
with

Carol Greenwald

Carol Greenwald

We all say that most of our work comes from referrals, yet we tend to take them for granted. This seems a contradiction to be remedied if we want to grow as quickly and strategically as possible. This session will focus on the remedy. We will discuss how to identify good referrals, how to explain what kind of work we want, and how to create a reciprocal reward relationship with referrals.

You will learn:

* What role you want referrals to play in the growth of your business.

* How to identify and define the best referral sources for you.

* How to go where they go.

* How to explain what you do in the context of their relationship to you.

* How to reciprocate.

By the end of the session you will have a road map for finding, growing and keeping referral relationships!

When: Thursday, May 10, 2012

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Where: The Dolce Center, 32 Weed Ave, Norwalk, CT
