Dear EWN Members & Friends:
Happy New Year!
January's Speed Networking Morning Workshop was a smashing success - and more great programs are ahead. Our big news is that Kate White, Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan magazine and author of Why Good Girls Don't Get Ahead But Gutsy Girls Do, will be joining us in September to kick-off the 31st year of EWN!
Speaking of 31, did you know that the number of women contributing their time and talents to the EWN Board and Committees used to be close to this number? That's a lot of volunteers! Fortunately, we've been able to skinny down the group to a well-oiled machine of far fewer. However, EWN remains a 501(c)(6) non-profit - bringing you great workshops and networking opportunities through the tireless efforts of its volunteers. Without volunteers, there is no EWN. Won't you help?
We need new folks to raise their hands and commit to carrying this organization forward by April 30th. Do you love EWN and have a success story to share? Got creative ideas? Got passion? Got talent? Want to make yourself heard? Want to get to know more EWN ladies quicker and be more visible? Want to give back to your community in a way that promotes your own business? Contact any member of the Board or me to learn more or attend one of our next 3 Board meetings to see what's involved.
In the meantime, check out what's on tap for February!
Best,
Anne Wilkins
EWN President
