Dear EWN Members & Friends:
There's a tree near my house with leaves which are now turning to fiery oranges and reds, always the first tree in the neighborhood to signal Fall's impending arrival - my favorite season of the year.
Hopefully, by summer's end, you will have had a chance to relax and recharge, enjoying time with family, away from the cell phones and e-mail. But, we invite you to come back in September raring and ready to go, as we will be.
This year marks the 30th year of EWN's existence. What a track record - and I'm so proud to be a part of it. Many thanks to the founders of EWN, to all the Past Presidents and contributing Board and Committee members, and to each and every one of you for contributing to its longstanding success.
In keeping with a year which marks a great accomplishment for this organization, EWN's Board of Directors has decided to shake things up a bit.
First, we are kicking off the year with an INCREDIBLE speaker who is the epitome of entrepreneurial success.
Join us on September 8 to get great practical tips on attracting clients and revenue into your business from Fabienne Fredrickson of Client Attraction.com (details below - remember that we're starting a half-hour early for this one - at 11:30am sharp).
Next, we have MOVED our base of operations from the Norwalk Inn to the DOLCE Norwalk and hope to enjoy an upgrade in venue, array of meal choices, and overall experience. We're switching to a buffet lunch to keep the "service clatter" outside the room and to give you more of a selection - so no need to worry about choosing your meal when you register for the event.
We have lowered event pricing even further for our loyal Members.
And finally, we are working to improve our marketing outreach, including redesigning the EWN logo, upgrading our promotional materials, and increasing our presence at local women business owner trade shows so that we can be here for another 30 years. Stay tuned for more developments!
Enjoy these last hot, hazy days of summer and see you in September!
