For YOU
A Media Offer That Cannot Wait Dear clergy and lay members of the Diocese, The Diocese's Communications Office has teamed up with ourchurchvideos.com to provide to you a few communication tools that will take your church to a new level in digital, Web and social communications.
You can see some of these tools put to work by visiting the diocese's website or that of St. Andrew's Church in Louisville. Just find the "Media Center" link on either site. At St. Andrew's website, you also may want to check out the "Watch Live" page, set up for streaming their worship services, as well as visiting the Media Center, where you can find the streamed service recordings and other videos archived. I have worked with the team at ourchurchvideos.com to put together a special package for our churches. I believe that your church could utilize these tools to help your congregation grow closer, serve your home-bound members and reach out beyond your walls to people you have never touched before. The special offer is the most aggressive they have ever done, and it includes a brand new tool (fanpage customization) developed since our partnerships began. A flyer, which may be downloaded here, more thoroughly explains their offer. Please note that the offer will only be available for a limited time and to a limited few. Feel free to contact me next week if you have any questions, or better yet, call the team at ourchurchvideos.com (334-246-5347). From my experience, I can honestly say that they will be glad, even enthusiastic to talk with you and that it has been a pleasure to work with them in setting up and refining our media center. Faithfully, Mary Jane Cherry Communications Director Diocese of Kentucky |
E-Blast will be published next week Dear EpiscoBlast readers, Publication of the next newsletter, due out today, is being delayed until next week for two reasons. Foremost (for you), we want to bring you the latest budget news and to shorten a time gap between the next two publications (Yes, I am the second reason for the delay. I am taking a week's vacation Aug. 22-26). In the upcoming newsletter, look for a report from Tuesday's Trustees and Council meeting, which will be considering the 2012 diocesan budget that will be sent to the diocesan convention in November. I also expect to publish with the report a copy of the proposed budget as approved by the trustees and council members. We hope to have the next E-Blast in your e-mailboxes next Wednesday (Aug. 17) or, at the latest, Thursday (Aug. 18). |
