2012 Electrical Accident Prevention Safety Stand Down Day.

The AGC of Tennessee has partnered with other construction trade associations across the state, as well as TOSHA, to have a statewide construction "Electrical Accident Prevention Safety Stand Down". You may or may not know that electrical accidents are one of OSHA's Focus Four Hazards. Summer is a time that a rise in incidents usually occurs.

The program contains a registration form and a PowerPoint training program. On June 11th you will "Stand Down" on all jobsites to discuss electrical accident prevention utilizing the training information provided in the program. You can submit jobsite photos of the event to AGC.

For information on this program please contact Kim Enoch, Director of Safety & Loss Control - AGC. Kim can be reached by e-mail at tnsafetyknox@comcast.net.

Attendance has been up in the first few meetings and we look forward to a great year. For a schedule of meetings go to our website and click on PIPE, or click the link listed below.
