Tennessee One Call will periodically provide timely information in this newsletter about events happening at the call center, or issues related to the "One-Call Industry".

Tennessee One-Call System, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will also be doing business as Tennessee 811. The Board of Directors voted to make this change to better support the national 811 campaign.

Please note our newest logo shown above. As you can see, it's a slight variation from our previous one. The goal was to integrate the "811" concept and logo into our own logo and, as mentioned, support the national 811 campaign.

Joey Logano Officially Named to Replace Tony Stewart in #20 Home Depot Toyota Camry
http:/ /www.loganomotorsports.com

Tennessee 811 has signed on to sponsor the new #20 Home Depot driver - Joey Logano - for the 2009- 2010 racing season. Other one-call centers participating in the 2009-2010 campaign are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas (TESS).

Tennessee has 3 top-56 tracked market(s), which means a NASCAR race on television is watched by 171 thousand people in TN, on average. The demographics of these people track very closely with those who excavate. Using Joey Logano's image - in TV ads, on the radio, in print, on rolling truck ads - increases the effectiveness of the ads due to Joey's recognition and endorsement of the "Call Before You Dig" message.

NASCAR has a broad appeal, and the appeal is very emotional and strong. NASCAR demographics skew towards Gen X and Gen Y - young adults we want to reach with the 811 message. By partnering with 8 other states, Tennessee will take advantage of having a national spokesperson at a low cost.

We will have 30 and 15-second television commercials - PSA style, and 30, 15 & 10-second radio commercials - PSA style. There will be 5 different 15-second commercials and 2 different 10- second commercials available. All of the radio and TV commercials, as well as, the print ads will be available to our member utilities to run in their areas.

We should have all the ads ready by the end of January and would encourage our members to take advantage of this opportunity for promoting "Call Before You Dig".

Be watching for more information in the near future. In the meantime, we've included a few photos of Joey advertising for us. These pictures were taken while he was filming for us in Daytona.
