Dear friends,
Fall is here, and with the changing weather, we too are gearing up for some exciting changes and events. We've been incredibly busy this summer - and are excited to share all that has been going on in our world.
The Creative Activists Partner Program (CAPP) continues to build and grow by providing fiscal sponsorship to highly effective and powerful initiatives around the globe that have not yet acquired non-profit status. Our partners are hard at work affecting change in their communities and around the world. See their latest news and announcements below. Our apparel line - the Dan Eldon Project - is now being sold in boutiques in the US, Canada, and Japan - and is not only providing a stream of sustainability for the Foundation, but is helping to introduce Dan Eldon to even more people. We just inked a big deal yesterday with a major retailer that wants to help us tell Dan's story and promote creative activism in every store across the US. APPAREL
Fred Segal Santa Monica, one of the top retailers in Los Angeles, approached CVF about exhibiting Dan's art in conjunction with the apparel line as a way to help tie in Dan's work. On September 1st, we unveiled the first retail exhibit of Dan's art - with eight prints of journal pages digitally mastered by our friends at Digital Fusion and framed by AJ Mason.
Incredible things are happening as the line gains strength and popularity - and we've had our first celebrity sightings in our shirts.

SENDING THE ORPHANS BACK 
Haeja and her young brother Jong Bok were orphaned during the Korean War. They spent a terrifying year traveling from the North to the South of Korea, to what they thought would be the safety of an orphanage.
In telling this story of one orphan's courageous journey, we hope to make real the plight of orphans around the world today.

ONE DAY ON EARTH
10.10.10
On October 10, 2010, thousands of people from over 190 countries around the world will participate in a project that seeks to capture the human experience over a 24-hour period. The United Nations Development Program has partnered with One Day on Earth aiding the project in becoming a global initiative. Read more

HILDE BACK EDUCATION FUND 
Since the premiere of "A Small Act"in January, The Hilde Back Education Fund has seen such an increase in the number of sponsored students that they have opened an office in Nairobi to manage them all! On top of that, they have expanded their psychological motivation program for the kids, as well as started the highly successful Teacher Motivation Project, which aids teachers in primary schools like Mukubu, the school that appears in the film.

AMA YOGA
 AMAYOGA is featured STUDIO of the MONTH at LULULEMON in November at the Santa Monica Store.
Featured instructors from AMAYOGA will be teaching yoga classes
every SATURDAY in NOVEMBER at 8:00 am at 331 Santa Monica Blvd. Donations for the classes will go towards AMAYOGA.
YOGAWORKS supports AMAYOGA for NOVEMBER FUNDRAISER. NOV 20, 6:00-9:30PM, 2215 Main Street, Santa Monica.

ELEVATION connects storytelling, education and community support to make a difference on a global scale. Their mission is to promote a healthy positive lifestyle, community service and empower people through practices that inspire conservation and social change. Currently, the ELEVATION team is on location in China building their first school.
