April 2008 Greetings,
The book we have all been waiting for is coming at last. I am talking about Wally Lamb's new novel, The Hour I First Believed, which is scheduled to be published November 11. There's huge enthusiasm for the book at Harper's and Publishers Weekly has already given a glowing report. Stay tuned. We are thrilled to be hosting the former Vice President of Nicaragua, Sergio Ramrez Thursday afternoon. He's a terrific writer and has led a very interesting life. Please come by and meet him. April is Poetry Month. One of our favorite poets, Margaret Gibson, just published a memoir, The Prodigal Daughter. Written in prose only a poet could write, the book is a gem. And if you are thinking of going solar, want to know how to grow vegetable that you don't have to plant every year, or want to know about Community Suported Agriculture, you will want to come by during the Sustainable Living Book Fair & Conference, lots of talks, displays from the Eco-Huskies, books and more. See you soon! Suzy
Bonnie's mural is almost done. Watch for an announcement. I love it!
