Greetings!

First of all, I'd like to wish you a very happy and healthy New Year. I was so busy during January, planning our fundraiser, that I couldn't get a January emailer together. I'm sorry about that!

I'd like to invite you to our first fundraiser of the year on February 9th. If you're in Los Angeles, please come to the Dermalogica Store in Santa Monica for complimentary Face Mapping zone-by-zone skin analysis and a MicroZone treatment. We will be celebrating my 5-year survivor anniversary (I can't believe it) with appetizers, wine and product samples. Dermalogica has generously donated all treatments and will give 10% of the evening's profits to Pink-Link! For more information and to register for the event, click here.

On February 27th, I'll be attending the 9th Annual Conference for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer in Dallas, Texas. This will be my 4th year exhibiting at this fantastic conference. If you're planning on attending, please stop by the Pink-Link booth on Saturday at 6pm. I'd love to get a photo of any Pink-Linkers at the conference. I hope to see you there!

I hope you have a wonderful February and are feeling well.

February Contest
Carrie Sanders, author of "The Breast Cancer Journey Planner" has generously donated 20 planners to Pink-Link. This easy to use, comprehensive organizer helps women deal with the immense challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment plan. The planner is packed full of indispensable resources and worksheets including: helpful advice, questions to ask your medical providers, an appointment calendar, journaling pages, a glossary of terms, financial resources, and much more. The 3-ring binder has pockets to store and organize information and fits in most purses, making it easy to take to doctor your appointments. The Carrie created the organizer based on her first-hand experience as a cancer survivor and counselor to cancer patients.

To buy a planner for $29.95, visit www.TheIdealCancerOrganizer.com. If you would like to submit your name to be entered to win the organizer, simply reply to this email with your full name and mailing address. You MUST be currently in treatment or know someone currently in treatment in order to enter the contest. The names will be placed in a bowl and the 20 winners drawn at the end of the month. Good luck!
Managing Stress
An illness such as cancer can be one of the most stressful events of a person's life. The stress of cancer and its treatment is increased by family, work, and financial concerns, in addition to everyday stress that was present before the cancer diagnosis.

Stress has not been shown to cause cancer; however, chronic stress may weaken the immune system, causing other health problems and decreasing feelings of well-being.

Are you Green, inside and out?
A couple of months ago, I switched cleaning products to a company that uses all natural ingredients and vows to keep America green. The products are made with no caustic ingredients and they are more economical than grocery store name brand products, safer for your home and family, environmentally friendly and effective. As conscious consumers, we can each do our part. These small steps add up to BIG change. Please check out the website by clicking. Please check out the website by clicking here.
