Greetings!
When I was going through my treatment, I felt so blessed and grateful to have friends and family that supported me with love and prayers. I always remember that when Thanksgiving comes around. It's a great time to reflect on what we have and the blessings that surround our daily life. If you're going through treatment, feel grateful for the days you feel well and think about those feelings when you're down.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great November. Here's to feeling well and empowered!
Sincerely,
Vicki Tashman Founder Pink-Link

October Virtual Raffle was a Success!
|
Thank you so much for supporting our fundraising efforts for our October Virtual Raffle. We raised $3,000! The winner was Pink-Linker Toni Saperstein from Holiday, Florida. She's a quilter herself and is in the process of making one for her niece who is pregnant and due in March. Congratulations Toni and stay warm this winter (even though you live in Florida). And a HUGE thank you to Camp GetAway who donated the wonderful quilt. You can check out their website at www.campgetaway.com.

November Contest
|
What? Another contest? We have had so many items donated to Pink-Link to give to our members, that we'll be having a contest for the next 3 months! Typically, a company or organization donates approximately 10 items, so we have a contest through our Power email to determine the winner. A wonderful organization called Care to Knit, has donated a vast array of beautifully handmade pink knit items, caps, scarves, throws, etc. Perfect for keeping warm this winter, especially if you're going through your treatment! You can win a wonderful pink knit cap to keep your head warm, or a throw to use while getting chemo. All you have to do to enter is to reply to this email with a short paragraph detailing a particular blessing in your life. All entries will be put into a bowl and the winners will be chosen at random. The winning paragraphs will be included in our December Power email. Thanks and good luck!
