Greetings!
February is always a big month for me. First off, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the end of February in 2004, so I'm happy to report that I am now a 4-year survivor! February is also the month that we launched Pink-Link online! We are now 2-years old and have reached over 1,600 members! We have members in all 50 states as well as Canada, Austrailia, South Africa, Italy, Iran and many more countries. By linking together survivors around the world, we are making women more educated, informed and ready to tackle their breast cancer journey. Let's continue our growth by forwarding this newsletter to your entire address book. I'm sure that some of your friends and family know other survivors that could be helped by Pink-Link. Encourage your face-to-face support group to join Pink-Link and together we can help support our breast cancer sisters. I hope you have a wonderful month. You're one step closer to finishing treatment! Feel well, Vicki Tashman Founder Pink-Link Click here to get your free DVD copy of "Moving Beyond Breast Cancer" from the National Cancer Institue. |

Dating after Breast Cancer Vladimir Lange, MD
I am a physician writing a book on midlife
dating for baby-boomer women. I have previously written, "Be a Survivor - Your Guide to Breast Cancer Treatment," and "Fatal Memories."
As you or your single
friends may have experienced, finding a suitable life partner is not easy. If
you are a breast cancer survivor -- and particularly if you are undergoing
treatment -- your search for "the love of the second half of your life" may be
particularly challenging.
I would be very thankful if you could take a few
minutes to give me your strictly anonymous answers to a short set of questions.
Please provide details of how your breast cancer survivor status may
have influenced your dating methods. In particular, how, when and why do you
reveal details of your medical history.
Please forward the link to your
friends, whether they are cancer survivors or not. The more answers we get, the
more helpful the book will be to the women who need it!
Dr. Lange has generously donated both books to Pink-Link. When you complete the survey, you are automatically entered to win the 2 books. Ten winners will be chosen and emailed.
