13 Principles of The Jewish Faith
(Below is my Messianic Version as well)

Principle #13 - The Dead Will Be Resurrected

"I believe with complete faith that there will be a resurrection of the dead, when the Creator so wills, blessed be his Name and exalted be his remembrance forever and for all eternity"

***********************************************************

Pirkei Avot 4:22-'Those who are born are destined to die, and those who die are destined to live"

The Resurrection of the dead is a major doctrine of Orthodox Judaism and Christianity and well as those of us who are Messianic Believers.  The faith in Ressurection back to life goes all the way back to Abraham, when he was told to sacrifice Issac (Genesis 22:1-14), it was his faith in the one who he knew had the power to bring His son back to life from death.

Heb 11:17 By trusting, Avraham, when he was put to the test, offered up Yitz'chak as a sacrifice. Yes, he offered up his only son, he who had received the promises,
Heb 11:18 to whom it had been said, "What is called your 'seed' will be in Yitz'chak."
Heb 11:19
For he had concluded that God could even raise people from the dead!
And, figuratively speaking, he did so receive him.

Yeshua gave us a taste of the Ressurection by bringing Lazarus back to life from death!

Joh 11:23 Yeshua *said to her, "Your brother will rise again."
Joh 11:24 Martha *said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day."
Joh 11:25 Yeshua said to her,
"I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,
Joh 11:26and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.
Do you believe this?"

Joh 11:39 Yeshua*said, "Remove the stone." Martha, the sister of the deceased, *said to Him, "Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead four days."
Joh 11:40 Yeshua*said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"
Joh 11:41 So they removed the stone. Then Yeshua raised His eyes, and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
Joh 11:42"I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me."
Joh 11:43 When He had said these things,
He cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth."
Joh 11:44 The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Yeshua *said to them,
"Unbind him, and let him go."
Joh 11:45 Therefore many of the Jews who came to Mary, and saw what He had done, believed in Him.

As well as others who went before us.
Heb 11:35 Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection;

1Th 4:13 Now, brothers, we want you to know the truth about those who have died; otherwise, you might become sad the way other people
1Th 4:14 do who have nothing to hope for. For since we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, we also believe that in the same way God, through Yeshua, will take with him those who have died.
1Th 4:15 When we say this, we base it on the Lord's own word: we who remain alive when the Lord comes will certainly not take precedence over those who have died.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God's shofar; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise;
1Th 4:17 then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 So encourage each other with these words.

Our faith is based on the Resurrection of our Messiah Yeshua, proof that He is YHVW  and the Promised Messiah, and has overcome Hell, Death and the Grave for US!

1Co 15:51 Look, I will tell you a secret - not all of us will die! But we will all be changed!
1Co 15:52 It will take but a moment, the blink of an eye, at the final shofar. For the shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised to live forever, and we too will be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this material which can decay must be clothed with imperishability, this which is mortal must be clothed with immortality.
1Co 15:54 When what decays puts on imperishability and what is mortal puts on immortality, then this passage in the Tanakh will be fulfilled: "Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55
"Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?"

Strongs #G386-Ressurection
ἀνάστασις
anastasis
an-as'-tas-is
From G450; a standing up again, that is, (literally) a resurrection from death (individual, general or by implication (its author)), or (figuratively) a (moral) recovery (of spiritual truth): - raised to life again, resurrection, rise from the dead, that should rise, rising again.

Pray as well that if you have become dead in your faith, that this Shavuot He would Ressurect (Bring Back To Life) your fire!

Principle #13 - Deborah's Messianic Version

"I believe with complete faith in the ressurection of the dead and that those who died in Messiah will one day have a glorified and ressurected body and that we will forever be with Yahshua.  I believe with complete faith the words of my Master Yeshua who said "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. "

Let us search our hearts as we prepare to recieve a refilling of His Ruach HaKodesh to  prepare us for the times ahead.  May Yeshua be glorified in all we say and do. Let us Walk In The Spirit Of The Torah Of Our Messiah
