13 Principles of The Jewish Faith
(Below is my Messianic Version as well)

Principle #8 - The Torah Has Been Divinely Preserved

"I believe with complete faith that the entire Torah now in our hands is the same one that was given to Moses our teacher, peace be unto him"

Principle #9 - The Torah Cannot Be Changed

"I believe with complete faith that the Torah will not be changed nor will there be another Torah from the Creator, blessed be His Name"

 Yeshua confirms that the Torah will not be done away with.

Torah Rediscovered - Berkowitz p.13

"The Torah is unique because it is a covenant, a National constitution, and a marriage agreement.  But it is also unique because of the way Yeshua related to it.  Although not acknowledged as such in many circles today, our Messiah was the greatest Torah teacher who ever lived"

"Through Yeshua's teachings run the underlying assumption that God's covenant people are to have a living meaningful and on going relationship to Torah.  In other words in Yeshua's thinking, one of the Torah's main purposes is to describe the lifestyle of the redeemed community

Mat 5:17 "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete.
Mat 5:18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away,
not so much as a yud (י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah - not until everything that must happen has happened.
Mat 5:19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven.
But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Yeshua clearly is stating that Torah needs to be obeyed and taught.  Contrary to popular teaching in traditional Churches, Yeshua did not come to do away with the Torah!  He lived the Torah, He taught the Torah, He was and is the Living Torah.

 Are we studying to do?  Or are we looking for the loop holes as an excuse not to obey His Word?

 Deu 28:1 "If you listen closely to what Adonai your God says, observing and obeying all his mitzvot which I am giving you today, Adonai your God will raise you high above all the nations on earth;
Deu 28:2 and all the following blessings will be yours in abundance - if you will do what Adonai your God says:

If we obey we will be blessed, if we disobey we will be cursed.  That is what G-d's word says.

Deu 28:15 "But if you refuse to pay attention to what Adonai your God says, and do not observe and obey all his mitzvot and regulations which I am giving you today, then all the following curses will be yours in abundance:

His Torah shows us His standard of righteousness and holiness.  A standard that we all have fallen short of His standard of righteusness, but through Yeshua we can now walk in obedience to Torah because He satisifed the righteous requirement for us.

Walking in obedience to His Word is a joy and a priviledge.  I am not looking for loop holes in the Law/Torah, but I am saying Yes and Amen!

 Principle #8-9 - Deborah's Messianic Version

"I believe with perfect faith that Yeshua did not come to do away with Torah.  The Torah is eternal and is the foundation on which the entire Word is established from Genesis to Revelation. Yeshua came to correctly teach us the Eternal Torah and to show us the Father and fulfilled the demands of the Torah for us.  Through Him we can walk in obedience to Torah without condemnation but with joy.  His Shabbat is eternal, His Feasts are eternal, His Word stands forever"

Shavuot is about recieving of the Torah on Mt Sinai and in our hearts.  There are great blessings in obeying His Torah. That is why these past weeks we have been examining our hearts and repenting of doubt, unbelief and disobedience.

Psa 19:7 The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.
Psa 19:8 The precepts of Adonai are right, rejoicing the heart. The mitzvah of Adonai is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Psa 19:9 The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. The rulings of Adonai are true, they are righteous altogether,
Psa 19:10
more desirable than gold, than much fine gold, also sweeter than honey or drippings from the honeycomb.
Psa 19:11 Through them your servant is warned;
in obeying them there is great reward.
